Under the brand Lyozeta, the new series of lyophilizer is a standardized version of its high-end GMP configurable freeze-dryers designed to operate under aseptic conditions. Specifically designed for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, a broad range of standardized sub-systems makes the new Lyozeta freeze-dryer enable flexible configuration.The range of Lyozeta GMP freeze dryers has been adapted to be fitted with ‘push-in/push-out’ vial automatic loading and unloading systems. After leading the development of innovative loading/unloading automated solutions, the company has extended this technology to the modular Lyozeta range of standardized GMP freeze-dryers, which are currently available with new options for integration to the Lyogistics Integral version of the vial automatic loading & unloading system.The system integrated in the standardized Telstar freeze-dryers has been proven to offer greater robustness, efficiency, reliability and accuracy in the vial transport and transfer process, in addition to easier cleaning and simplified maintenance. The modular version of the freeze-dryer is equipped with fail-safe mechanisms such as a maintenance door automatic locking including detectors to ensure correct locking. At the same time, the chamber-condenser isolation valve consists of a cartridge-mushroom type with EPDM gasket, hydraulically actuated, an innovative isolation valve with less complexity and easier maintenance which provides enhanced process safety. It provides higher levels of leak tightness and requires less maintenance than a conventional mushroom valve.The Lyozeta range is equipped with Lyosuite, the latest generation control system based on PLC and user-friendly SCADA that offers multitasking operation in a Windows environment.
