Ofichem Group, a company specialized in formulation development based in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Avivia BV.
The acquisition- The acquisition marks a significant step in Ofichem’s strategy to become a fully integrated provider of development solutions across drug substance and drug product, with a focus on complex formulations.
Ofichem is a European-centred CDMO trusted by pharma and compounding customers with responsive, reliable solutions across APIs and drug products.
• Avivia is a contract development organization (CDO) with extensive expertise in formulation development, analytical method development, dissolution testing, and excipient characterization.
• The acquisition will strengthen Ofichem’s integrated development offering, enabling the group to offer broader, deeper support from early-phase development through to GMP production.
• Avivia supports pharmaceutical clients within formulation and pharmaceutical development, with a focus on formulation development, analytical method development, dissolution testing, and excipient characterization aimed at improving patient outcomes.
